Adelaide West Special Education Centre encourages students to be sun-safe. Families are asked to supply UV40+ sunscreen and a hat. Staff will apply a student’s sunscreen prior to outside activities.

On days of extreme temperatures, students do not go outside for recess and lunch play times.

If parents supply insect repellant e.g. Aeroguard, staff will apply this as well for outside activities.
